The Mission of God: A Call to Love, Serve, and Go

✝️ Missions: The Crown Jewel of Christian Worship

The Bible presents missions not as a side task or an optional calling, but as a sacred service unto God. It is not a vanity project, nor is it reserved for the spiritually elite. Missions is the crown jewel of Christian worship—a powerful expression of God’s redemptive love. There is no greater privilege than to be called a missionary. We count it a joy and an honor to preach the gospel to lost souls, proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ in obedience and love.

🌍 God’s Love in Action

Missions is an extension of God’s love for the world, delivered through His Church to reach individual lives. It follows the supreme example of Jesus Christ, as described in John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

This verse is not just a foundation of our faith—it is a call to action. Every missionary, every gospel message, every act of compassion is rooted in this divine love.

🩸 The Lifeblood of the Church

If the gospel is the heart of the Church—keeping spiritual life flowing—then missionaries are the vascular system, carrying that lifeblood to every corner of the world. Just as a beating heart is meaningless without arteries and veins, the Church’s gospel message requires people willing to go and share. Paul puts it best in Romans 10:14:

“How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?”

Missions is indispensable. It is the heartbeat of global evangelism.

🙏 More Than Conversion: A Ministry of Love

Whether we are funding missions, praying for missionaries, or serving in the field, we must remember: missions is not only about church growth or numbers. It is primarily about expressing God’s love to the world. Every outreach, every sermon, and every shared testimony reflects God’s desire to redeem and reconcile His people.

🚶 Our Journey in Missions

As a movement, we are deeply grateful to the Lord who has sustained our journey. Every month, we leave our families and comfort zones to travel for the sake of the gospel. We dedicate between 30 to 60 days to intense missions across countries, cities, villages, towns, and schools—carrying the undiluted Word of God to all who will hear.

We stand firm on the truth of 1 Peter 2:21:

“For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in His steps.”

In each mission field, we witness God’s power—bringing healing, deliverance, and transformation.

🇬🇭 A Moment to Remember: The Untold Name of Jesus

In 2018, during a mission to the Atebubu-Kwame Danso region of Ghana, we reached a remote village. The people there told us something unforgettable—they had never heard the name of Jesus Christ before. This encounter served as a powerful reminder: the harvest is still plentiful, and the need for missionaries is urgent.

❤️ Living the Gospel, Not Just Preaching It

Alongside our patron, matron, board of trustees, partners, and volunteers, we don’t just preach—we demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways. From giving to serving, we embody the call of Hebrews 13:16:

“Don’t forget to do good and to share what you have, because God is pleased with these kinds of sacrifices.”

This holistic approach makes the gospel tangible to the communities we serve.

💰 Trusting God for Provision

One challenge we continually face is funding. Missions require resources—transportation, materials, food, and more. Yet we do not waver in faith. We hold onto the promise in Philippians 4:19:

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

God has always provided, and we trust that He will continue to do so.

🔥 Conclusion: Go. Love. Serve.

Missions is not simply something we do—it is a reflection of who we are in Christ. Whether you are a sender or a goer, your role matters. Together, we fulfill the Great Commission. Let us continue to serve with boldness, love with sacrifice, and go where Christ leads us—for the glory of God and the salvation of the nations.
