The Bible speaks of missions as a service to God. Missions is not a vanity project, and it is not the janitorial work of ministry. It is the crown jewel of Christian worship. The greatest opportunity one can ever get is to be a missionary. We are happy to preach the gospel to souls.
Missions work is an extension of God’s love for the world through the church to particular people, following the example of Christ: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16)
If the gospel is the heart of the church that keeps the lifeblood flowing to its members, then missionaries are the vascular system, running that lifeblood to every organ, every appendage and every inch of skin in the world. A beating heart means nothing without the rest of the vascular system: “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” (Romans 10:14)

God wants us to understand that whether we are supporting missionaries, contemplating missionary work, or actively serving in the mission field, missions are not solely about conversion, expanding the kingdom, or growing the church. These activities are fundamentally expressions of God’s love for His people. We should always keep this in mind, regardless of our role in fulfilling God’s desire to bring the nations to Christ.
As a movement, we are grateful for the Lord, who has made our journey possible. Every month, we leave our families to share the undiluted word of God. We dedicate between fourteen (14) to sixteen (16) days to rally in the name of Jesus Christ across countries, cities, villages, towns, and schools.1 Peter 2:21 “For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps. “The power of God, healing and deliverance is always available in our programs.
Surprisingly, right here in Ghana, on one of our missions to Atetebubu Kwame Danso region (2018), we went to a faraway village and the people told us they had never heard the name of Jesus Christ before so it is important to carry the gospel across.
Apart from obeying this great commission, I together with our patron, matron, board of trustees, our partners and entire team demonstrate the love of Christ to individuals and communities ‘’ Don’t forget to do good and to share what you have because God is pleased with these kinds of sacrifices’’ Hebrews 13:16.
At times funding for our missions becomes very difficult but we pray that the Lord who is our supplier will provide funds to embark on this journey. Philippians 4:19 ‘’And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’’
