What We Believe

We, the members and leaders of Addicted to Christ Movement (A2CM), hold to the
following core beliefs rooted in the Bible, which is our supreme authority for faith and
conduct

The Scriptures

We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the sixty-six (66) books of both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21). It is the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and life.

The One True God

We believe in one eternal God, Creator of all things, existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spiritco-equal and co-eternal (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Deuteronomy 6:4). Each person of the Trinity is fully God, and together they operate in perfect unity in creation, redemption, and the believer’s sanctification.

The Deity & Humanity of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man, was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, offered Himself on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of the Father (John 1:1,14; Matthew 1:18–23; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11).

The Fall of Man and Need for Salvation

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and that the wages of sin is death. Only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ can a person be forgiven, redeemed, and restored (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Acts 3:19).

Salvation by Grace through Faith

Salvation is a free gift from God, not earned by works but
received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. All who believe are regenerated
by the Holy Spirit and become children of God (Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:3–6; Titus
3:5).

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, and empowers them for holy living, spiritual gifts, and bold witness (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23; John 14:16–17).

The Church

We believe that all believers make up the body of Christ, which is the Church. They glorify God through worship, fellowship, evangelism, discipleship, and service (Ephesians 1:22–23; Acts 2:42–47; Matthew 28:19–20).

Sanctification and Christian Living

Believers actively pursue holiness and spiritual maturity; therefore, they intentionally turn away from sin and consistently grow in obedience to Christ through the Word, fervent prayer, regular fellowship, and daily surrender—ultimately aligning their lives with God’s will (Romans 12:1–2; 1 Peter 1:15–16; Galatians 2:20).

Healing and Restoration

We believe Christ brings healing spiritually, emotionally, and physically—and that His power can break every chain of addiction, bondage, and oppression (Isaiah 61:1–3; John 8:36; James 5:14–16).

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, and to usher in the fullness of His eternal Kingdom (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 22:12; Matthew 24:30–31).

Resurrection and Eternal Life

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—those who are saved unto eternal life, and those who are lost unto eternal separation from God (John 5:28–29; Daniel 12:2; Revelation 20:11–15).

The Sanctity of Life, Marriage, and Moral Purity

We uphold the sacredness of all human life from conception to natural death, affirm God’s design for marriage between one man (XY) and one woman (XX) as biologically defined, and pursue personal holiness and sexual purity (Hebrews 13:4).
